Choosing how to take payments

Pay2Book takes booking payments through Stripe. There are two ways to set this up, and you choose the one that suits you in Settings → Stripe.

Stripe Connect (recommended)

Pay2Book sets up a Stripe account for you and handles the connection. You click one button, complete Stripe’s secure onboarding, and you are ready to take payments. There are no keys to copy and no webhook to configure.

A 2% platform fee applies per booking on the Starter plan. On the Pro plan there is no platform fee.

Stripe Manual (bring your own keys)

You connect your own existing Stripe account by providing an API key and a webhook. This gives you full control of your Stripe account, and is available on the Pro plan. It takes a few more steps to set up.

Tip

If you are not sure, choose Stripe Connect. It is the quickest way to start taking payments, and you can change later.
